You control the elf's speed using the ski angle. Directing the elf straight down the slope will cause him to accelerate to full speed. To stop or slow down, you must position the elf's skis parallel to the mountainside.
You must maneuver the elf between trees and other obstacles. You collect a variety of gifts on the slope. Collecting gifts adds scores and increases your overall performance. Avoid hitting obstacles! They slow down your run or cause a crash.
You must slalom to victory by skillfully weaving around trees and hazards. Skiing faster leads to a top score. Collecting more gifts also increases your chances of a high score.
Use the parallel position briefly before sharp turns. This effectively bleeds off speed and maintains control. Look ahead on the slope to plan your path through upcoming clusters of trees and gifts. Go full speed down only on open, straight sections to maximise score potential.
